FATHER TO THE FATHERLESS

Black Eyed Susan's...my father's favorite flowers.  When I see Black Eyed Susan's, I think of him.  

They are not in bloom yet.  This picture was taken while on a walk with my husband and daughter last summer.

Father's Day is a special time to enjoy the company of your father and let him know you love him.  

For some reason I tend to come across people on Father's Day that don't have a dad.  I can feel their sadness when they tell me.  Maybe they lost their dad to an illness or maybe he is just not in their lives.  Whatever the case, the void of not having a father must be hard to bare. 

But.....my friend....I am here to tell you....you do have a Father.  He is seated in the heavens.  He longs to hang out with you...yes, you.

  You see He is not a God that forces himself on anyone.  He is a gentle Creator.  Take a look around, He made this beautiful creation for His children, just so we would turn to Him and say WOW you are a Wonderful Father.  Thank you.  That is all He wants from us.  Love and thanks.  Isn't that all any of us really want?  Love........appreciation...?

You see He gets the bad raps for all the lousy stuff that goes on in this world.  Please remember.....He kicked the bad guy out and sent the redeemer.  If you are scratching your head right now trying to figure out what I am talking about.  Well......I am not here to give you all the answers.

Cry out to YOUR FATHER!  Ask Him to show you.
